Ugh. That was not the way to start my morning.
I had set my alarm for 6:45, right? Because I went to late-night snacks and stuff with L and her roommate. (Free omelettes and ice cream at 10 pm? Score!) And I didn’t get back to the apartment until nearly 11, and I wanted to shower and go to bed.
So I set my alarm for an hour earlier than usual so that I could get up and do a little studying before my final.
I remember waking up around 5:30 and thinking “Oh, I can sleep for another hour.”
The next thing I knew, it was 7:45.
I missed my 6:45 alarm somehow.
And even though I rushed to get dressed (luckily I set my clothes out the night before most nights) and my backpack was almost all packed for staying on campus, I missed the shuttle by a few minutes and had to walk 10 minutes to a final that started in 15-20.
I made it, but just barely.
Needless to say, that one didn’t go so well.
And then I grabbed breakfast and tried to study but ended up calling my mom instead.
Then I hung around waiting for my Media final to start and skipped like eight questions but that’s okay they’re only worth a point each and it’s out of 40 and I think I did okay on everything else.
Now I’m trying to write two papers before work in two and a half hours.
I’m thankful that I at least didn’t fail these finals.
My papers we’ll have to see about. =\
I will probably stay on-campus after work for a few hours (library’s open ’til midnight) and eat and work on papers. I was hoping to get them both done today and have tomorrow to relax (because, let’s face it, “study day” is code for “let’s go hang out somewhere and forget we have exams.”). I think I might run to the prof’s office and see if she still has copies left to borrow and return tomorrow? Yeah, probably run and do that soon.
Eek.
I’m so glad I get to go home in two days.
