Lol. Thank you, Tina, for another fun survey!
…Even though I don’t have a very consistent … um, meal schedule??
A is for Apple: Whatโs your favorite variety?
Ummm… Braeburn. They’re practically the only ones I eat. Although those itty-bitty apples my mom finds are good, too…
B is for Bread: Regardless of nutrition, what is your favorite type?
Hah. I don’t eat a whole lot of bread, but I’m okay with white or whole wheat stuff.
C is for Cereal: What is your favorite kind currently? (just one!)
I can’t remember the last time I ate cereal regularly. But I’ve been eating Frosted Mini Wheats lately…
D is for Donuts: You might not currently eat them, but what kind do you fancy?
I haven’t had a specific brand of donut in forever, just the ones you get in convenience stores. But I LOVED Krispy Kremes!!
E is for Eggs: How would you like yours prepared?
I will eat my eggs pretty much however. Don’t care. But I do rather like scrambled…
F is for Fat Free: What is your favorite fat free product?ย
I don’t even know what I eat that’s fat-free. Never pay attention to that. My dad does, though…
G is for Groceries: Where do you purchase yours?
Typically CashWise, but sometimes WalMart.
Starting this fall, I will probably buy most of my stuff from Target.
H: is for Hot Beverages: What is your favorite hot drink?
Since I cannot stand coffee OR tea, hot chocolate wins.
I is for Ice Cream: Pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping.
I can’t even… What?
Okay, ColdStone’s Sweet Cream (or the cake batter stuff) with Oreos, maybe.
J is for Jams or Jellies: Do you eat them? If so, what kind and flavor?
Not often, but I prefer grape. Strawberry’s okay, but grape is better.
K is for Kashi: Name your favorite Kashi product?
I don’t even remember the last time I had anything Kashi. Maybe that cereal that my mom buys…?
L is for Lunch: What was yours today?
Uhhh… Truthfully? A tortilla (yes,ย I eat them plain) and several handfuls of sour cream & onion chips.
(Told you my food routine sucks.)
M is for microwave: What is your favorite microwave meal/snack?
Um. I microwave leftovers… Also chicken nuggets and stuff.
N is for nutrients: Do you likes carbs, fats, or proteins best?
Idk. I’m not even sure I know which is which.
O is for oil: What kind do you like to use?
Um. I think we have vegetable oil in the cupboard for baking…
P is for protein: How do you get yours?
Not even sure. Meat?
Q is for Quaker: How do you like your oats?
I haven’t had oatmeal in… a long time. But I have to eat slightly-mushy oatmeal. Don’t like it very thick. WATER. Or milk.
R is for roasting: What is your favorite thing to roast?
Er.
S is for sandwich: Whatโs your favorite kind?
Can we count Subway? I like their chicken/bacon/ranch on flatbread. It’s what I get every time now.
T is for travel: How do you handle eating while traveling?
Travel? What’s travel?
LOL.
Depends. If it’s a church trip that requires stopping for food (like to TN in 06 & 09), we’re given $5 per meal and allowed to spend it wherever we want (within walking distance of the bus/hotel). And we’re allowed to save the $5 until it accumulates, or keep the change, or add our own money in. Whatever.
But on family trips, we typically stop somewhere relatively inexpensive and eat. Probably not super-healthy, but it works.
U is for unique: What is one of your weirdest food combos?
Uh… one time my sister and I TopChef’d it up and added bacon and pickles to our Ramen…?
V is for vitamins: What kind do you take?
This reminds me: I need to buy more Gummies. I take Gummie vitamins because they’re awesome. I need to buy more, because I ran out like a week ago…
W is for wasabi: Yay or nay?
Never had it. Probably nay.
X is XRAY: If we xrayed your belly right now, what food would we see?
I donno if you’be able to actually see it, since it’s being digested, but…
My crappy lunch, my supper of crepes (YUM!), and an ice cream sandwich.
Y is for youth: What food reminds you of your childhood?
Anything Hostess, really.
Also Dairy Queen. Because when I was little and went to day care,ย if we were really good and cleaned up our toy room (The Porch) and helped her clean the house (yes, we helped clean. We enjoyed it.), our daycare provider would A) pull out the box of DillyBars (or popsicles)ย or B) walk us all to DairyQueen (like…one/two miles? We loved it.) and pay for us to each get a DillyBar or a small cone or something. Oh, childhood… ๐
Z is for zucchini: How do you prepare it?
I’m not sure I’ve ever had zucchini, honestly. =\
