Ummm… I’m not sure if there’s anyone like this in my life. =\
I mean, I’ve had some not-so-nice experiences with people, but I don’t know that I need to let go of anyone.
I’m not really sure how to answer this one, I guess.

In other news, I read Matthew chapters 1 and 2 today.
I didn’t realize that 4 was such an important number in the Bible, too.
I knew that 12 was, but 4 and 14 are kind of important, too.
And through reading 1:18 through 2:23, we find that Joseph had (at least) four dreams in which he was visited by angels.
And in 1:3-6, we read of four women in Jesus’ genealogy: Tamar, Ruth, Rahab, and Uriah’s wife, AKA Bathsheeba.
To me, it’s really interesting. I mean, I’m not really a number person, but I think it’s awesome that there are so many numbers that seem important in the Bible, so many that are used over and over.
And 40 is one of those numbers.
The couple of things that come to mind right now include Noah and the Flood, Moses and the Israelites, and the 40 days that Jesus spent in the desert.
That last one, of course, is part of what Lent is all about.
And why I gave up Facebook and am on a list of people for YP to text each day with reminders of which chapters to be reading.
We’re doing two chapters of the Gospels each day, and I’m taking notes. I’ll probably continue to post some of my thoughts throughout the Lenten season, and if you’d like to, feel free to read the two chapters a day along with us! 🙂
